Our story

Decosoro didn't start with an idea.

Most apps start with an idea. Ours started with experience.

While designing and building our own home, we saw up close what the collaboration between an architect and a client looks like. We noticed that despite enormous commitment and professionalism, most of the information about a project is scattered.

Inspirations and documents dropped onto a drive, decisions in different messengers, questionnaires over email, deadlines discussed by phone. Every tool solved only a fragment of the problem, but none brought order to the whole design process.

That's when we understood: the problem isn't a lack of tools. The problem is that none of them was built with the entire interior design process in mind.

We developed Decosoro together with interior architect Paulina Knapczyk of Interno Studio, who shared her experience and the everyday challenges of running projects. That let us verify our ideas as we went and respond to the real needs of the industry.

We also consulted new features with architects at the Interioro Design Days fair in Kraków. Conversations with designers helped us better understand how they work, their biggest challenges and their expectations of tools that support day-to-day project work.

To this day we develop Decosoro based on architects' feedback. We listen to their experiences, analyse how they work and build new features together. That's why Decosoro is neither a random collection of tools nor another task-management app.

It's a place created specifically for interior architects - the only one that brings order to the entire design process: from the first brief, through inspirations, mood boards, product lists and budget, to communication with the client and the doers and the finished realization.

We believe technology should simplify daily work, not complicate it. That's why our goal isn't to build as many features as possible. We want to build a tool that gives architects more calm, more order and more time for what matters most - designing.

Paulina Knapczyk

interior architect • founder of Interno by Paulina Knapczyk

Since Decosoro's earliest days, Paulina has actively helped shape the app, sharing the experience she's gained running interior projects. She tests new features, advises on solutions and helps us build a tool that answers architects' real needs - and above all respects the way they work on their projects.

About Paulina

Paulina has worked as an interior architect for over 8 years and, for the last 6, has run her own studio, Interno by Paulina Knapczyk. Since Decosoro's beginnings she's taken an active part in building the app, advising on new features and sharing what she learns in her daily work with clients.

Education

Paulina is an interior architect and holds a Master of Arts. That mix lets her bring together a technical and an artistic approach to design, creating interiors refined both functionally and aesthetically.

Experience

She specialises in residential interiors - apartments, houses and villas in the mid to high-end range. Every project is delivered in close collaboration with the client, and the results are often captured in professional photo sessions. She puts an individual approach, distinctive solutions, modern conveniences, openness and full commitment first.

Off the clock

Paulina loves good food and far-flung travel - two passions that go hand in hand. She draws inspiration from discovering new cultures, staying in remarkable hotels and apartments around the world, and watching how different spaces shape emotions and the way we live. She rests best in beautiful interiors or close to wild nature, and draws her energy from the sun and the people she surrounds herself with - because they matter to her most.
