While designing and building our own home, we saw up close what the collaboration between an architect and a client looks like. We noticed that despite enormous commitment and professionalism, most of the information about a project is scattered.
Inspirations and documents dropped onto a drive, decisions in different messengers, questionnaires over email, deadlines discussed by phone. Every tool solved only a fragment of the problem, but none brought order to the whole design process.
That's when we understood: the problem isn't a lack of tools. The problem is that none of them was built with the entire interior design process in mind.
We developed Decosoro together with interior architect Paulina Knapczyk of Interno Studio, who shared her experience and the everyday challenges of running projects. That let us verify our ideas as we went and respond to the real needs of the industry.
We also consulted new features with architects at the Interioro Design Days fair in KrakΓ³w. Conversations with designers helped us better understand how they work, their biggest challenges and their expectations of tools that support day-to-day project work.
To this day we develop Decosoro based on architects' feedback. We listen to their experiences, analyse how they work and build new features together. That's why Decosoro is neither a random collection of tools nor another task-management app.
It's a place created specifically for interior architects β the only one that brings order to the entire design process: from the first brief, through inspirations, mood boards, product lists and budget, to communication with the client and the doers and the finished realization.
We believe technology should simplify daily work, not complicate it. That's why our goal isn't to build as many features as possible. We want to build a tool that gives architects more calm, more order and more time for what matters most β designing.
